My first abseiling course in TPY CC on 24/7/11. What is abseiling, still alot of people dont know what is this. Abseiling is commonly practiced internationally as a method for descending cliffs using ropes and friction devices. Working knowledge of Basic Abseiling Equipment
a) Harness - able to put on the harness permanently. Tie buckle Harness without asisstance
b) Helmet- able to adjust helmet to fit and put on correctly
c) Descending Devices- Introduction of the different types of ascending device. Try out ground belay of belaying FIG.8 descender
d) Karabiner- Understand how the karabiner work in a proper way
f) Kernmantle Rope- Managing ropes, coiling, lapping, chaining.
